Mission: To provide students with a quality education and help them transition back to Rome Middle and Rome High School.

Description: Mr. Parks social studies classes follow the same format and pacing as the middle and high school. Students are expected to adhere to the same rules and regulations and more set forth by the Rome City Board of  Education and Rome Transitional Academy. The Grading scale is set by the Board of Education and is as follow 100%-90%=A, 89%-80%=B, 79%-75%=C, 74%-70%=D, 69%-below=F. Students are expected to bring their books and supplies to school each day to class and follow the dress code set forth by Rome Transitional Academy. Students in the 7th grade will be taking Geography, 8th grade students will be taking Georgia History and student in high school will be taking courses in Civics, Economics, World History, American History and Government. Because of scheduling some high school classes not being covered by the instructor will be taught on a computer program called Nova Net. Nova Net is a self paced computer program that allows students to receive credit for high school course not being taught by an instructor.
